How to Believe in Yourself

Successful living, belief in yourself
You can move mountains if you believe in yourself. If you believe in yourself, you can do absolutely anything. In contrast, those who don’t believe in themselves can’t achieve anything worthwhile. To live a successful life you will have to do a lot of
believing in you.
Scientific and medical discoveries are results of the belief that anything is possible, as long as you can think it. About 100 years ago, malaria was a deadly disease with no cure. In fact, it was the highest killing disease in the tropical region of West Africa, and it was reported to have killed more than five million people, especially children. At that time, if one was diagnosed with malaria, it was like being sentenced to death, because there was no cure.
The thought that malaria had no cure was crippling. As a matter of fact, the fear of malaria was the beginning of wisdom (so to speak). But thank God for those who had the enthusiasm, interest, and courage to invest their time and money to produce a cure for malaria. They simply believed a cure was possible.
The point I’m trying to make here is that there wouldn’t have been a cure if there was not first the belief that the cure for malaria could be possible. The same goes for many other life threatening and deadly diseases that had no cure but now can be cured.
To achieve anything worthwhile and become successful in life, you have to believe in yourself no matter the adversity or challenges that confront you.
I believe that one basic feature of successful people is belief in success. Belief in success is one of the secrets behind successful businesses, churches, and technological advancement. You will never find a successful person who never believed he would succeed neither will you find an unsuccessful person who believed in himself. That he’s not successful is enough proof that he never believed in himself.
Mind you, it’s important to note that just because you don’t have lots of cash or material possessions doesn’t in any way mean that you’re not a success. Your success should not be measured by your possessions neither by your neighbours’. Success is measured by how big you think. It is measured by the contents of your mind. True success is a state of mind.
As a matter of fact, I belong to the school of thought that believes that true and real success is about changing lives positively and permanently. Other people’s belief in you is not enough; you’ve got to believe in you to reach your destination. Therefore, believe in yourself and believe in your dreams, and the successful life will not elude you.
You will Achieve Your Dreams!
